Why join the Linkwebb community?

Linkwebb does just that, it links the web together into a community of web sites providing mutual support to enhance their search engine ranking.

What do I have to do?

The principle is very simple, every member of the Linkwebb community includes on their web site one web page that we provide containing a short piece of code.
You also put two images ( the pictures you see above) in a directory called "images".
Once you have that in place all you need to do is put a link to that page on your home (index.html) page and that's it!!
You sit back and see the links to your site increase and so your search engine ranking.

Won't the link take traffic from my site?

The link does not have to be obvious, a simple subtle hyperlink from something like a copyright symbol at the bottom of the page would do.
The Linkwebb page is not intended to take traffic away from your site.
That is why the link can be very discreet. The link is there for the benefit of the search engines who will see the link whilst crawling your site.

Why is the link only for the search engines?

As the search engines crawl your site they will find the Linkwebb page and follow the links to all the members of the Linkwebb community, including back to your page from the page on your site.
As they do the same on every other web site within the community they will again follow the links to your site.
This is how the search engines find your site and keep coming back to it.
As it is only found by the search engines it doesn't matter if your competitors are part of the Linkwebb community, your visitors will not find their site from yours.

Do I have to keep updating the file when other people join?

The beauty of the Linkwebb process is that it is completely automatic as far as you are concerned.
You upload the three files once and just forget about it.
As new members are added the Linkwebb page for every member is automatically updated.

How do I join the Linkwebb community?

Joining is quite simple.

All you need to do is e-mail sales@linkwebb.co.uk with your domain name and reply e-mail address.
We will then e-mail you the necessary files and instructions on how to pay the £10 joining fee by Paypal or cheque.
Once you have paid your joining fee and installed the necessary files you will be added to the Linkwebb and automatically included on the web sites of all our members.
