Talalay- Latex

Talalay latex is a foam-rubber, manufactured using the unique Talalay process.
In brief, the Talalay production method transforms liquid rubber into foam in a 7 stage process.

The basis of the high quality Talalay latex is a high grade natural latex, produced by the Hevea Brasiliensis, combined with synthetic latex produced from petroleum products. Only necessary vulcanisation ingredients are added to the basic mix, with no inert filler. This means that the original characteristics are retained.

The production process comprises 7 stages: Filling, Vacuum suction, freezing, setting, pre-vulcanisation, washing and post-vulcanisation.

The result is exceptionally high quality latex which is notable for maximum durability and optimum elasticity and ventilation. Talalay latex retains its elasticity even after long and intensive use. The properties of Talalay latex are the result of the choice of raw materials and of the unique multi-stage Talalay production process.

The excellent ventilation of the mattress is guaranteed not only by the special profile of the memory foam layer but also because of the special open cell structure of the total core. the specially designed ventilation channels between the different layers of the core in combination with the 3 dimensional "Aerotec" border ensures maximum ventilation and continuous refreshment of the mattress.

At the sleeping side the open cell structure of the core generates a micro climate which optimizes ventilation and avoids heat accumulation.
