County Kerry Time and Knowhow - The County Kerry

When life was taken at a more leisurely pace provincial Irish craftsmen had the time and the knowhow to use traditional methods to construct their distinctive style of furniture. The twenty raised panels which make either end of the County Kerry are assembled by hand to give an unmistakable Irish flavour.

Welbeck Originally painted - The Welbeck

Popular in the early 1800's this style was usually decorated with paint effects long before stripped pine became popular. The turned rail, originally called a cushion rail would be hung with linens and lavender bags. Evolving out of these early designs the Welbeck remains very popular in contemporary bedrooms.
